Is it possible that accutane could make acne worse in the long run? I might go on accutane and would like to know that if it doesnt work out that I’ll atleast be able to go back to my current benzoyl peroxide regimen with atleast the same success I had pre-accutane. Are there any other acne treatments that are powerful other than Accutane?
I have cystic acne, and my doctor told me that I should definitely try Accutane. The only issue is that my insurance doesn’t cover it and it would cost over $1000 a month. I’ve been using the Murad acne process and that’s been working well for me, but that doesn’t work for the cystic acne under the skin, only the blemishes on the top layer. Are there any other medications or products that have worked on cystic acne that you know of? Thank you times ten in advance.
I’m already using a topical treatment called Murad. It’s basically Proactive x10 so that really won’t help me. That doesn’t take care of acne under the skin, only on top.

Is it likely for my acne to return after taking Accutane for 4 months?
I have been taking accutane for 4 months already and it has been extremeley successful. Still, my dermatologist is putting me under the pill for 5 months but I really don’t feel like taking it, mostly because I experience excessive dryness. So I wanted to know if it’s likely for my acne to even return after this much treatment, cuz if not then i don’t want to take it anymore…

What to do if acne comes back after Accutane?
I took accutane for about 9 or 10 months and it cleared up my face very well. Ive been off of it for about 4 months and I am slowly but surely seeing small pimples coming back all over my nose and upper lip. Before accutane, nothing worked for me. How bad is your acne or the symptoms during the 4th or 5th month of accutane?
I’m about to go on the drug accutane for my acne. I will be going on vacation in july. Then, would be my 4th month or 5th month while on accutane. I would like to know how my symptoms would be.
