I was prescribed Valtrex when I went to the dermatologist for bad acne, as, I had a reoccurring case of cold sores. Now the acne is gone, I haven’t had to go back to the dermatologist in a few years, but, i still get cold sores. Can my regular doctor get me Valtrex, or, do i need to see a dermatologist?
